I go by bitclaw online. 17 years building software for US companies, starting with enterprise systems in Colombia and going fully remote before it was cool.

I care about code that holds up over time and is easy for teams to maintain. My core work spans backend and frontend systems, with deep experience in Ruby on Rails APIs, PHP, Node.js and TypeScript services, and React-based frontends.

I specialize in revenue-critical integrations like WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce (Magento), Shopify, SAP, and NetSuite. These systems require stability, backward compatibility, and careful change management. That is where I thrive.

Born in Long Island to Colombian parents. Split my childhood between New York and Medellin. Finished high school in Colombia, got my Systems Engineering degree from Pontifical Bolivarian University.

US Citizen, currently in Colombia. Planning to move back to Florida this year for my kid to get his citizenship.

Currently building RunMist. A cloud deployment platform for SQLite-backed apps. Built with Bun, TypeScript, and React.
